Then it was Mike's turn with his song from De Dijk. Party continuing!

I flew of stage right after my song had finished and worked my way through the crowd to get in front of the stage. This to be able to cheer at him and give him the 'thumbs up' in case he spotted me.
I got al kinds of congratulations and cheering from colleagues, saying it had been great and asking if I had sung with a band before. Huh, no :o) ! That really surprised me, because I didn't really have a clue if it had been good or not. You can imagine I was quite cheerful by then!

And Mike gave a smashing performance to top it off!
